BACKGROUND:
Practice is a yoga, movement, and co-working studio fostering a collaborative community in Sogorea Te’ Land/ Berkeley, CA. With a new location opening in January 2020, the studio was in need of iconography that represented raw material and purpose.
The design proposition was using elements from nature to convey the practice of yoga. The mountain and sun are utilized to focus on the region’s landscape and emphasizing the daily ritual of intention.
