BACKGROUND:

Cure™ was a Jamaican convenience store concept; offering 5 lifestyle departments in; health, home, children, self care, and snacks; along with a pharmacy. Once design proposal was approved, Jamaica’s biggest pharmacy chain; Fontana, bought Cure’s building to brand it as their own.


The objective was to reference Jamaica’s coat of arms and the global icon for aid in its logo mark. Utilizing the cross/ plus symbol to indicate it was more than just a pharmacy, revitalizing a convenient shopping experience in Kingston. We designed the customer’s journey using the color palette found in Jamaica’s visual vernacular from nature.
