Background:
Oommie is a product that embraces form and function using pima cotton, cashmere and linen for swaddles, baby wraps, blankets and bed sheets. Oommie aims to provide the finest fabrics during a baby’s first years, as it is the most significant time for a caregiver and their newborn. Ōumi is the Japanese word for ocean; utilizing fabrics from around the world; to connect parents across the globe.
The design approach was emphasizing on the concept of the ocean (indigo blue) and a caregiver’s love (blush pink); for a sincere and nurturing touch.
