Three weeks ago, Jugofresh™ debuted their pop-up restaurant that serves a vegan-gastronomic experience located at 40 South Pointe Dr, Miami Beach, FL 33139. Darren 'Paco' Lazslo and Pamela Wasabi oversee taste and presentation for this exquisite sit down. Chris Devlin creates delectable Mocktails; from a selection of Jugofresh™ presses. I popped in this past Friday to end a productive week and see what all the craze was about. Was I in for a treat! What this local juicer was withholding from its customers, was a sensational culinary experience. An appetizer platter of Kalamatta Olives to savor Almond and Cashew cheese dripped with Manuka Honey. My favorite meatless entree was a Colombian take on the "Tamal Antioqueño", Quinoa, black beans, yuzu kale, and soy chorizo; all to welcome my mouth in for a native dish my father would've scoffed at.
Needless to say, when we were asked how we were finding everything; I was still savoring a mouthful and had no words but a slow murmur and nod of "Mmhm". The most fascinating part was the torching of the Banana Split which had NO Dairy. Three scoops made from Blue Majik, Matcha, almond butter on top of each other intended for each scoop bring about a flavored surprise.
